Eleven years since the original RFC was posted on the drones-discuss mailing list, the Cyphal specification has officially reached stability. Today, we release v1.0:

The work on the next release — v1.1 — is already underway. It is expected that v1.1 will include new features in the DSDL language, secure communication, named topics/RPC, and more.
We might also consider building a ROS RMW based on Cyphal — if anyone is interested in taking part in this effort, please get in touch through this forum.
