We’re enabling a paradigm shift in the way drones are developed, deployed, scaled and leveraged in everyday commerce. Our proprietary solution enables full autonomy and scalability, and we plan to offer a full service IaaS/SaaS model, generating rich, actionable data to commercial and enterprise customers. Our target markets extend across a vast swath of commercial applications—including security, construction, sports, warehouse management, manufacturing logistics and law enforcement. Our founders have a track record of founding and exiting multiple companies.

Position Description

We are looking for a skilled Python programmer to improve a graphing tool that we heavily use for our R&D efforts. The programmer will work to deliver features or bug requests submitted by application engineers. The programmer can work remotely and be paid on hourly rate. The work hours are flexible.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Python (2.7 or 3.x) and PyQt

PyQt 4.7+, PySide, PyQt5, or PySide2

Experience developing with NumPy

Good communication skills

Desirable:

Experience developing with UAVCAN protocol and GUI tool

Experience developing for or fixing issues in PyQtGraph library.

Education and Experience

BS in Computer Science or an equivalent field

Python: 2 years+ (preferred)

PyQt: 2 years+ (preferred)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Hourly rate commensurate with experience.

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Preferred)

Work authorization: United States (Required if working onsite)
