Today we release **Cyphal/CAN Physical Layer Specification v1.0** named UCANPHY (the U is for historical reasons). The UCANPHY Specification [replaces](https://forum.opencyphal.org/t/removal-of-the-physical-layer-specification/895) the now-defunct physical layer section of the core Cyphal Specification. **[UCANPHY\_Specification.pdf](https://forum.opencyphal.org/uploads/short-url/dbQwKsDMWiMVR0Q46d1yMqR6wAv.pdf) (2.6 MB)** The UCANPHY standard is open to everyone, and it will always remain this way.
